Dear Bro. Welch and Turners Creek Baptist Church:
We greet you in the name of our wonderful Saviour Jesus Christ. What a great joy it is to update you on the ministries at Gospel Broadcasting. It truly is exciting times. First, let me tell you about the "Reaching America with the Gospel" project. We were able to take on a station on Omaha, Nebraska, in March, and in May, we are able to take our Gospel Pulpit to radio station KGMS in Tucson, Arizona. This is absolutely a blessing from God. Many people have given to this cause. We asked one thousand people across America to support the Gospel Pulpit for $10 a month for one year to help us go on new stations. God has truly been good to us. Now, we need you to pray that we will reach many people, that the doors will be open to the gospel, and that the gospel might go forward.
Also, I would like to announce an addition to our ministry. On May 7th, we welcomed Bro. Kevin Keeter to be a part of GBI. He will be our media director and have other duties as needed. Bro. Keeter is a graduate of Tabernacle Baptist Bible College from the Tabernacle Baptist Church in Greenville, South Carolina and worked at WTBI Radio for several years. We believe that Bro. Keeter will be an asset to our ministry. He brings a lot to us that is useful to the cause of Christ, especially his desire to preserve the old-time preaching messages and sermons of yesterday. This will be a great help to our ministry and especially to PTG Radio.
I am looking forward to the summer months. I believe that God has some great things in store for us here. I will make another announcement later in the year. I am working on that project now, and I believe that it will be a great help to many people.
Please keep us in your prayers at GBI for we know that God is blessing us, but the devil is around to always fight. We must never underestimate the enemy.
