Dear Friends and Partners,

We are excited to share the latest news from our ministry in Iceland. It has been a season of both heartbreaking goodbyes and joyous new beginnings.

Icelandic Ministry Update

Our Christmas outreach was a great success! In our latest photos, you can see our choir singing along with a wonderful crowd in attendance. We rejoiced to see many first-time visitors and volunteers signing up for special roles. If you would like to view the service, it is available on our YouTube page: Christmas Service 2025.

Our youth ministry also continues to grow. We recently hosted a "back-to-school roundup" featuring a bounce house and popcorn. William has been leading the Icelandic-speaking teen church, with attendance averaging over 20 per week.

Prayer Request: William is currently a missionary on deputation while serving full-time on the field. He currently has 40% of the support he needs. Please pray for his leadership and for the remaining support to be raised.

English Ministry: Blessings and Challenges

Many who attend this service are refugees seeking asylum. It was heartbreaking to say goodbye to a family from Venezuela who received their deportation paperwork this month. They spent two years hoping to make Iceland their home, and our church became their "home away from home."

On a joyful note, I had the privilege of baptizing a man on the last Sunday in January. He has been attending with his wife (an Icelander) and daughter for three months. After asking many insightful questions about faith, he trusted Jesus as his Savior.

Summer Camp 2026

Dates: June 22–27

Goal: A traditional, week-long environment for children and teens who faithfully attend FBC.

Sponsorship: We seek to provide this at no cost to the campers. The average cost for food and supplies is over $200 per attendee (for a total of 60 children, teens, and staff).

The last day of camp is our most significant outreach opportunity to share the Gospel with families who may have never heard it. Thank you for your prayers as we prepare.
